This week, the children finished the book ‘Leon and the Place Between’. They spent the week writing a descriptive narrative based on their chosen circus performance. To end the week, the children published their writing that included artwork based on the book.
Maths
We spent the week converting fractions into decimals by converting by dividing the numerator by the denominator or using our decimal facts. We also spent time placing decimals on a number line and spent time exploring our visualisation skills.

In the afternoon this week, we spent time learning more about the human body and how exercise affects our hearts. We spent the week predicting, planning and taking part in experiments to test our predications.

This week we continued learning more about the various quilling techniques. We learnt about other quilling artists from around the world. The children will be designing and creating their own quilling design.
