Uniform

Our Chilton uniform keeps us safe and smart.

We believe in "look smart, think smartly" and expect all of our children and staff to take care and pride in their uniform and professional dress.

Chilton School Uniform:

Optional Branded School Uniform highlighted in bold

  • Grey trousers / skirt / shorts / pinafore

  • Blue gingham summer dress

  • White shirt / polo shirt

  • Navy blue sweatshirt / jumper / cardigan (no hoodies apart from school supplied items) Branded jumpers and cardigans are available via the Schoolwear Centre

  • Grey, black or white socks / tights

  • Black shoes (no trainers, sandals) For health and safety reasons we do not allow children to wear shoes with platform soles or high heels.

  • Additional Chilton branded items are available from the Schoolwear Centre but are optional

PE Kit:

  • Indoor PE - navy or black shorts, white t-shirt or Chilton PE shirt, plimsolls or trainers

  • Outdoor PE - navy or black shorts or track suit, white t-shirt or Chilton PE shirt, plimsolls or trainers.

Additional information:

  • Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back throughout the school day.

  • Hair accessories should be kept to a minimum and match the school uniform colours. No large bows or larger head-band accessories.

  • Earrings - only one pair of small flat studs should be worn. These must be removed or covered for PE.

  • No other jewellery is permitted apart from a wrist watch (smart watches are not permitted)

  • Nail varnish and make-up are not permitted at school.

We supply the School Wear Centre "previously loved" uniform items which they prepare and sell at a discounted rate.

We also have a small stock of pre-loved items at the school office available to all families for any voluntary donation
