Friday 31st January 2025

Dear Families,
Firstly, a huge thank you for your continued support and enthusiasm this week! Despite the high winds and some rather unfriendly weather, the children have arrived each day with smiles on their faces and a wonderfully positive attitude. It’s always a pleasure to see their resilience and excitement for learning, whatever the weather throws at us!
Trim Trail Update
Speaking of the weather, it has unfortunately delayed the grand opening of our new Trim Trail in the KS1 playground. The builders are ready to lay the soft flooring beneath it, but they need the tarmac to be completely dry before they can proceed… and this has definitely not been the best week for that! However, they have given us more promising news for next week, so we’re hopeful that it will be finished imminently and ready for the children to enjoy very soon.
A Chilton Facelift – Thank You!
I want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has reached out to offer their time and energy to help give Chilton a bit of a facelift! Last week, I put out a call for volunteers, and I have been moved by the generous responses from our community. At the end of next week, I will gather all the names of those who have expressed interest and be in touch to arrange a time that works for most of you. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance the learning environment for our children and to model to them the importance of respect—respect for each other, for our school, and for the space we share. Your support in this is truly appreciated!
