Today we learnt about shadows and how to make them. We learnt that a shadow is formed when an object is blocking a light source and it casts a shadow onto the wall or floor in the shape of the object. Yesterday we went onto the playground and drew around our shadows to see how they changed size throughout the day. Using our new knowledge, we created shadow puppets and performed a shadow puppet show using torches. We had great fun!
