What a fantastic week we’ve had! The sun has finally graced us with its presence, which meant we could kick off 2025 with our first Wake and Shake of the year! I truly love these moments when we all come together as a community, sharing in joy, energy, and, of course, a little bit of dancing. Even if my dance moves aren’t quite enough to tempt you, I hope the promise of tea, coffee, and Chloe’s famous biscuits will be! Wake and Shake isn’t just a great way to get the blood flowing; it’s also an opportunity for you to speak with me or a member of the Senior Leadership Team about anything on your mind—whether it’s learning opportunities, reading, or anything else school-related.

We also celebrated World Book Day yesterday, and what a magical day it was! Reading is at the heart of everything we do at Chilton, and we love seeing that passion reflected in our children. The effort that went into costumes was absolutely incredible—your creativity and enthusiasm never fail to amaze us. Thank you for making the day so special and for helping us celebrate the love of books and stories in such a fun way.
At the beginning of the week, we sent out Parent-Teacher Consultation booking slots. If you haven’t yet secured a time with your child’s teacher, please do so as soon as possible. These meetings are a fantastic opportunity to hear about your child’s progress and how we are supporting their learning journey.
Next week, we are excited to host the Book Fair at the end of each school day. It’s a brilliant chance to explore a great selection of books at fantastic prices, so be sure to pop by!
Thank you once again for another wonderful week. Enjoy your weekend, and we look forward to welcoming you all back on Monday morning!
