One Childhood, One Chance

Friday 27th September 2024

It has been another busy week at Chilton. Please read below to find out all we have been up to!

Dear Families,

What an incredible week it has been! I’m thrilled to announce that we have identified this year's House Captains, who have already jumped into action by producing this week's Head-up video! I have no doubt that they will continue to represent Chilton with the same pride and excellence that they always have. Look out for them regularly in these weekly videos!

Today, we’ve had a wonderful “Dress to Express” day for our Reception children, and their outfits have been absolutely sensational! Thank you to all the families for your creativity and participation.

A special thank you as well to those of you who attended our Wake and Shake. While we understand that not everyone can make it due to work, we would love to welcome even more of you to join us for a tea, coffee, chat, and a dance on the playground. It’s a great way to start the day!

I’d also like to give a huge congratulations to our football team, who competed last Friday night and finished second in their group. We’re especially proud because our team was the only one made up of boys and girls from Years 4 to 6, competing against Year 6-only teams. They played with true passion and sportsmanship and made us all very proud.

It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through the term – time is flying by! Next week brings some exciting events. Monday will be our very first Game Day, designed to kick off the week in a fun and energetic way, banishing those Monday morning blues! Additionally, we have our Harvest Festival assemblies coming up. This is a time of year we cherish, as it gives us a chance to share and support those in need. Please continue bringing in your donations on Monday so we can make a difference together. Here is a link to your year group blogs so you have all the details you need for these assemblies and more.

Finally, I wish you all a restful and enjoyable weekend, and we can’t wait to see you bright and early on Monday morning.

Best wishes,
Mr. McAuley
