One Childhood, One Chance

25th November 2022

We hope you have had a wonderful week, we certainly have!

The Naughty Bus has been very busy in our classrooms!

The children came in from lunch on Monday to see that their classrooms had been trashed! All that was left as evidence was an envelope with a book inside, The Naughty Bus! The children couldn’t believe how naughty the bus was and tidied up the mess he had made. This was a great start to our new topic, ‘From here to there’ where we will be learning about different forms of transport.

Next week, the children will be going on our mini bus trip, thank you for being prompt at responding to our permission slips. We will be noting all of the different forms of transport that we see and discussing these when we get back to class.

In maths, the children have been learning about shapes. They have learnt about properties of a shapes and are getting very good at counting sides and corners. Next week, the children will be learning how to use language to compare mass.
