Children and staff at Chilton Primary in Ramsgate travelled back to the 1980s for a special celebration day.
To mark the 40th anniversary of the Comic Relief charity’s first ever Red Nose Day, a non uniform day allowed pupils to glam up in their finest sparkly outfits.
To add to the 1980s party fun theme musical memories from the era were playing as children arrived for morning school.
And during the day they showed their creative skills and designed their own red noses which are the iconic logo of Comic Relief.
Deputy Head of School Hannah Cheshire said: “It was a brilliant day and a fun way to celebrate a charity that has done so much to support children for four decades.
“We shared with the children some of the charities that Comic Relief helps and talked about how it works tirelessly to support vulnerable families.
“There were some truly fantastic outfits on show and it was a real colourful occasion celebrated in true Chilton fashion.”
Chilton’s glamtastic day raised £332.33 for Comic Relief.
Chilton Primary is part of the Viking Academy Trust with partner schools Ramsgate Arts Primary and Upton Junior.
