English
Throughout English this week, we have continued our persuasive letters to Shackleton about giving us a job on Endurance for the expedition. We have written our second quality which was about learning knew skills and being adaptable and we have also explained a third quality that we have. We have used formal language and persuasive language this week. Next term, we will be starting a new book called ‘The Jamie Drake Equation’.
Maths
This week in maths, we have continued converting between minutes, seconds, hours. Moving on to days, weeks, months and years. We have also had two lessons on our problem-solving skill this term which is reasoning logistically.
Thematic
For our thematic this week, we started the week with North America day! We tasted tortilla chips in Mexico, learnt the national anthem and made the flag in America and we played Lacross in Canada.
RE
This week in RE, we have been learning about where the bible came from. We have looked at why there are lots of different versions of the bible and translating parts into English. We also looked at the story of Adam and Eve and retold it in groups.
