Chilton Primary School

One Childhood, One Chance

Friday 17th May 2024

Dear Families,

I hope this newsletter finds you well as we come to the end of another exciting week here at Chilton Primary School. I am writing to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our Year 6 students who have just completed their 2024 SATs tests. This week has been a culmination of their hard work and dedication throughout their time at Chilton, and they have truly shone brightly.

The SATs tests provide a wonderful opportunity for our children to showcase the progress they have made and the knowledge they have acquired during their educational journey with us. It has been incredibly inspiring to witness their determination and resilience as they tackled these assessments head-on. Each child has demonstrated their worth, and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements.

At Chilton Primary School, our mission statement, "One Childhood, One Chance," underscores our commitment to providing our students with the very best opportunities to succeed. Whether it's day-to-day activities, weekly lessons, or yearly milestones like the SATs, we strive to equip our children with the skills, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all the parents who have taken the time to fill out our survey. Your feedback is invaluable to us, I read every one, and we take every comment and suggestion on board as we work towards continuously improving our school community.

Looking ahead, we have some exciting events planned for next week. The Viking Games will take place, and below, you'll find a reminder of the days and times for each year group's participation. Additionally, Friday marks our PSHE parade, promising to be a spectacle for all involved. Click here to take a look at the latest year blogs.

As we approach the final week of Term 5, I want to thank you all for your continued support and dedication to Chilton Primary School. Together, we are making a difference in the lives of our children, and I am eager to see what the future holds as we continue this journey of learning and growth.

Warm regards,

Mr. McAuley
