Working in small teams, the children explored a variety of maths resources and made lists of how they could be used.  From this, they considered which professions use these tools and how they are used in the world around us.  In Guided Reading, we made predictions for our new text 'Way Home', thinking about where it is set, the characters involved and what the plot could be, purely from studying the front cover.
