This week we have started our new topic 'Winter'. We have enjoyed decorating snowflakes, making icy paper chains for our classroom and writing about what penguins need to survive.

In Maths we have been practising addition. We have been looking at number sentences and using practical resources to work out the answers.

Outside we have explored cornflour and water, soapy bubbles, slimey jelly and porridge oats. We have particularly enjoyed role playing as doctors outside this week!

Next week will be discussing the months of the year so please tell your child which month their birthday falls in so that they can share it with their friends in our lesson!
