Dear Families,
As we prepare for the festive season, we are excited to announce our traditional Christmas Dinner on the last day of term! To help us plan effectively, we kindly ask that you complete the survey linked below to indicate whether your child would like a school Christmas dinner and, if so, whether they would prefer the meat or vegetarian option.
Your prompt response will ensure we can make this special day as smooth and enjoyable as possible for everyone. All responses must be submitted before the 12th December.
Please pay for your child’s Christmas dinner in the usual way by topping up dinner money via your MCAS app (Years R, 1 and 2 receive universal free school meals so do not need to top up dinner money).
Please click here if your child would like a Christmas dinner
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to celebrating with your children!
Warm regards, Mr McAuley
Friday 15th November
Dear Families,
Next week is Road Safety Awareness Week, and we’re looking forward to exploring this vital topic with all our children. Through engaging activities and discussions, we’ll be learning about the importance of road safety, how we can keep ourselves and others safe, and recognising the key people who work to protect us on the roads.
As part of this focus, it’s a good opportunity to remember that we all play a role in promoting safety, especially during school drop-off and pick-up times. To help ensure the safety of everyone, I kindly ask that we all continue to respect the parking restrictions around the school site. In particular, please be mindful of the restricted parking zones along Chilton Lane (in effect from 8am to 6pm daily) and avoid parking near the junction at the bottom of Chalk Hill, as these areas are critical for the safe flow of traffic and visibility for our children.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping to keep our school community safe. Your support and consideration make a positive difference, and we’re grateful to work together in promoting a secure environment for everyone.
Best regards,
Mr McAuley

Message for year 4 parents - Dear families, We are delighted to tell you that we have arranged a trip for Year 4 to the Maidstone Museum to see a real Egyptian mummy. The trip is on Wednesday 27th November 2024. We will leave school after registration, aiming to arrive at the museum for 10am. We will be taking part in an Ancient Egyptian workshop at the museum and then enjoy a picnic lunch in a room within the museum. Afterwards, we will have some time to explore the museum as a class before returning to school by around 2:30pm.
The children need to wear school uniform and will need to bring a packed lunch. If your child is provided with Free School Meals, please indicate on the consent form if you would like a lunch from the school kitchen for this trip.
