We have had a wonderful week this week, continuing to settle into Team Turquoise and Team Cyan. We have been learning about Zones of Regulation and discussing how we feel. We have collaborated to come up with strategies to support us to regulate our emotions.

In maths we have been continuing to count objects to 20 and have been recognising numbers in the environment during our play. We made large obstacle courses during busy time in the outdoor area and challenged ourselves to balance carefully on the planks.

This week we were very excited when we saw the fairies had visited us through their door. They left fairy dust in the classrooms and outside! They reminded us to make sure we tidy up properly and look after our toys.

Across reception we have also been practising our Harvest songs and look forward to performing them for you on Tuesday!

Next week we start our topic ‘On the Farm’ which we are very excited for!
