Maths
This week we continued to practise our time skills. We made sure we could confidently tell the time to 5 minutes. We then secured our understanding of 24hr and 12hr clocks - we are now much better at converting between them! Finally, we went on to solve challenging time duration problems.
English
We began the week by using lots of figurative language to describe volcanoes. Our art work was fantastic! We are going to be writing explanation texts so we have been practising using causal conjunctions. We will be writing books about how volcanoes and earthquakes are formed.
Topic
We have been presenting our information about volcanoes to the class. we have learnt so much about tectonic plates and how they cause these disasters.
A visit from the police!
This week we were able to sit in a police truck, try on their uniforms and fingerprint! It was great to get the chance to ask questions to our visitors - they were fantastic! We learnt so much and now know what to do if we were lost.
Class Assembly - Team Aqua were so proud of their performance! Thank you to all of the parents that came - we hope you enjoyed it!

Next week we have our Easter Egg hunts and Bonnet parades! Don't forget that school finishes at 2pm on Friday.
