Welcome back. We hope you have all had a lovely half term!!

This week we have been learning about our British Values, which the children have really enjoyed. They have learnt about democracy, individual liberty, the rule of law and mutual respect. The children have really enjoyed this learning and we have seen lots of the new vocabulary they have learnt coming out in their play.

In Maths this week, we have deepened our understanding of subtraction. The children can read a number sentence and are beginning to be able to take away by counting back. We have been really proud of how confidently they have been doing this.

Next week is Book Week. We will also be starting our Topic on 'Superheroes' with a focus on the book 'Supertato'. On Thursday the children will need to come into school as their favourite book character.
