You will be an Olympian! Choose your country and participate in the event using your imagination! I cannot wait for these pictures and videos!

Feelings: How were you feeling over the weekend? Did your moods change? Why?
Guided Reading:
This week we are going a book called ‘Escape of the giant Chicken!’ Today we want you to read up to Page 9 and then use your predicting skills. Write at least 3 sentences predicting what might happen next in the story.
English
By the end of this week you are going to be planning and writing your own story where a small animal turns into a giant one!
Today we would like you to think about what animal you would supersize and where. The characters in our story went to a farm and supersized a chicken, where would your character go and what animal would they supersize?
Draw a picture of your new setting and supersized animal ready to plan and write about tomorrow!
Maths: This week we will be continuing to learn about measurement.
MOS: Click on the link to play the lifeguards game and test your place value knowledge! https://www.ictgames.com/mobilePage/lifeguards/index.html
Task: See the sheet attached at the bottom of the blog post.
Topic:
Art- In this lesson we are going to be creating a piece of work inspired by an artist called Andy Goldsworthy. We are going to be using items from nature, these can be from a local park or your garden. This lesson requires you to collect petals, leaves, sticks and other items to make a colourful picture. If you have already been on your one walk, run or cycle, don’t worry you can do this activity tomorrow. Or you can get extra creative and use colourful items from your home, like toys, fruit or clothes
