Friday 14th May
Good morning Team Azure and Team Peacock! How is it Friday already? Well done on another week of home learning. You are all incredible!
So... what are we learning today before the weekend can begin?!
Maths
We have some more investigations for you to choose from today. They range in difficulty and you do NOT have to do them all!! I really like the first one, as it helps me to interpret data more. Which one will you choose?
English
Today you will read up to the end of Chapter 2 and predict what you think may happen in the rest of the book - there are a couple of options with how you would like to do this.
Hope you are all getting on well with SPAGADAY!! You are well into Year 4 skills now! The answers are attached so you can mark your work!
If you have attempted the big write, please share on padlet or email us.
Writing Challenge!
Mr McAuley and Martyn Harvey have had such fun making these videos for you, its not quite over! We have a fantastic video today with yet another brilliant poem from Martyn Harvey along with another captivating illustration. But this is not the end! Your final video will be on Monday morning next week with yet more poems, illustrations and some laughs along the way. Enjoy today's poem, but you will have to wait until Monday and our final video in the series for full details of the competition. Before you go... I want you to go back through the videos from this week and 'like' your 2 favourite so far. Enjoy today's poem!
Topic
Did you know that the crust of the Earth is made of large tectonic plates? They fit together a bit like a jigsaw.... which leads us to today's learning!
We love a song to help us understand....(!!)

On the PPT is a very odd looking map. It actually shows how the tectonic plates fit together. Can you cut and stick your parts to create the crust of the Earth?
CLASS NOVELS
Two chapters in one day?! Azure's next writers are Daniel, Gracie and Max
Peacock - Wonderful chapter from Alfie KK yesterday! DAISIE will be writing today's chapter! Please email me if you would like to contribute to the class novel and haven't already.
Have a wonderful weekend, Year 4!
