Wednesday 13th May
Good morning Year 4!
We hope you are having a good week so far and managing to balance your learning with fun and family time. It's been great hearing how some of you have been out cycling, climbing trees or even racing with their pets! Remember if you are feeling worried about anything, there is a special link you can visit on our website.
We hope you had a look at the extra special writing competition! It looks so good and we can't wait to see what Friday brings! Here is the link to the next video:
Maths
It's investigation Wednesday! Our favourite! You’re going to complete an investigation in your house and plot your data on a bar chart. Use the squared paper attached to the blog to help you plot your bar chart. The data that you find is completely up to you and be as creative as you can. Here are some ideas to find how many (but we're sure you’ll be able to think of some more interesting ones!):
You will need the blank chart attached
English
Today you will need to make sure you finish chapter 2 of 'AIr Raid'. You will be summarising what has gone on in the first two chapters but you can do so in your own way.
It's been great to see some of your BIG WRITES from this week - It's good to see you take your time over your writing and even edit and improve your work.

Albie has written an incredible chapter for Team Azure! It was very gripping to record! Ted is really enjoying the story too! Lily - you're up next! Good luck!
Great work yesterday, Jessi! Kady-Mae, it's your turn to write the next chapter!
Finally, this afternoon, we would normally be having ICT. There is a great website where you can begin to learn to code.
You will need to make an account with an email address so please check that this is possible! When you register, there are some great starter projects. It looks lots of fun - give it a try!
Have a wonderful day,
Mrs Gale and Mr Abel
