Monday 27th April 2020
Good morning, everyone! We hope you're all well and had a wonderful weekend! We're now into Week 3 of Term 5, it's gone quickly, hasn't it? We just want to say again how proud we are of all of you working so hard from home and how much we miss you every day. Please continue letting us know what you're up to (including learning and not learning!) either by email or on the Padlets below. On to the learning!
Maths
Today, we are going to be looking at perimeter. There are mild, spicy and hot challenges below as well as some additional challenge cards. Good luck!
English
There is a SPAG A DAY challenge for you complete below. For Guided Reading and English, we are changing tack slightly and looking at some stand alone exciting topics. Today, we are looking at Big Ben with some comprehension questions and a really cool Big Write to complete!
RE
This week, we will be starting our new RE unit on Buddhism. The PDF of the slides is attached below as well as a PDF of Buddhism 'fact cards'. What we would like you to do is select another religion that you know about (doesn't have to be one we have studied) and compare it to Buddhism. What do they do/believe that is the same or similar? What do they do/believe that is completely different? You can present this information anyway that you like!
Have a wonderful day and stay safe
