We have had a wonderful last week of term in Reception. 

In maths, we have been weighing different items using scales and ordering them by weight. Later in the week, we have also been measuring items by length using cubes. 

In topic, we have been learning about online safety. We did this through a story  about Smartie the penguin. We have also learnt a new song, which reminds us to tell an adult if we see anything unusual, or anything we don't recognise. 

Our Traditional Tales tea party was a huge success, the children all looked so wonderful in their costumes. In the afternoon we set up our banquet tables and enjoyed all of the lovely food you had brought in (thank you again!!). After this we pushed the tables to the side and made room for our ballroom dancing!
