It has been Values week at Chilton and year 5 have been learning about Eleanor Roosevelt and the extreme courage she demonstrated when she was the First Lady and beyond.

Home Learning:
Please complete the mymaths challenge set.
For your SPaG challenge, look for and record, cut and stick or photograph examples of where parenthesis (a word or phrase inserted as an explanation or afterthought into a passage which is grammatically complete without it, in writing usually marked off by brackets, dashes, or commas) has been used in different texts: eg. a reading book, newspaper, poster or online article.
