Answer these questions about the story so far:
What is the name of the space explorer’s spaceship?
How are Nok and Seven different to the other crew members?
What is the space explorer’s mission?
Where have the 4 core fragments been hidden?
Explain why they need to remake the core.
Who is the enemy in the story?
Seven says that Moxor is a hostile planet. What do you think hostile means?
Explain why Nok says, “We can’t give up now,” on page 5.
True of false: it is safe to eat the plants on Planet Moxor.
Name one of the life forms on Planet Moxor.
Writing: Today you will write a description of planet Moxor. Use the information about the planet on pages 6 and 7 to help you. There is also a picture of the planet’s landscape on page 3.
Write a title: Planet Moxor Fact file
Your fact file should describe the planet in a paragraph and include a coloured picture of the planet with labels. (hopefully you have some coloured pencils)
Maths
For maths today, you will be finding patterns in addition and subtraction. You will be give some numbers in a sequence and you will have to identify the addition or subtraction pattern in the sequence.
For example:
2, 4, 6, 8, would be +2
1, 3, 5, 7, would also be +2
The missing number in this sequence 3, 6, _, 12 would be 9 as the pattern in +3
The missing number in this sequence 12, 8, _, 0 would be 4 as the pattern in -4
There are two tasks attached, both are differentiated so choose the level you think is suitable for your level.
Topic
The Sun
The sun is a star at the centre of our solar system. Without it, there could be no life on Earth. Watch this BBC Bitesize video about the sun:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/zdrrd2p/articles/zqn7y4j
Then try the fill in the gaps activity underneath the video.
Here are some more really interesting short clips about the sun: https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/clips/zqbygk7

Today we would like you to create a piece of artwork that shows the planets of the solar system with the sun at the centre. Here are some ideas:
Have fun! We'd love to see your completed Solar System art work!
